In July 2023 Ron and joined a group on a trip to Ghana. At the palace of the Chief of the Asesseso Region I saw this young drummer. He was out of body, all rhythm and energy and beauty. The adinkra symbol Nyame Dua - the presence and protection of God - is worked throughout the painting.
