I love gold and yellow and joy and flowers and...so does Ochun. She's the goddess of love, beauty, sensuality, spring and fresh waters. And this gourd is for her. She loves honey, hence the tiny clay, paper and wire bees coming from her head. The stitching is reminiscent of hives and inside is a shell that I picked up on a nearby beach. There's also a paper mache butterfly near the flowers she loves and a real amber bead on the top.
