Raven has been showing up in my work lately. He's flown or walked into a few paintings and he wanted to be on this gourd. The symbol behind him is the adinkra symbol for creativity. The stitching includes antique glass beads, which I came across in my stash :) There is metal leaf behind him. Lined with painted paper.
